This all comes down to personal preference. The sizing options do allow for a degree of leeway and flexibility, depending on how much compression you prefer. Most people buying our products like a firm fit and opt for the smaller size to facilitate this. However, if a softer compression suits you, order the larger size. You should tighten it just enough to achieve a firm hold that comfortably supports your body without restricting blood circulation. If the brace seems to be squeezing or leaving a pronounced impression on your skin or body, then consider loosening it or, in a severe case, electing for a larger size.

We would only advise that people refrain from wearing the products to bed as their medical-grade compression is not intended for the body during sleep.
